Image Pattern Alignment (planetary-full disk)
This is a simple registration by translation method using cross correlation in the spatial domain.
This method is fast and is used to register "planetary" movies, in which constrasted information can be seen on large areas of the image. It can also be used for some deep-sky images registration.
Tip
Shifts at pixel precision are saved in seq file. No new sequence is created.
