Pre-processing

WarningWhen a sequence is loaded, the images can be pre-processed.

Pre-processing[1] is an optional but highly recommended step. It involves having darks, offsets/bias and flats.

The way masters are created is described in this section, see also the section on stacking.

Warning

For pre-processing, Siril applies the offset/bias, dark and flat master images to the current sequence.

These master images must be processed before processing the main image sequence.

Siril does not currently support processing multiple sequences at the same time, so each layer of the final image must be processed independently before assembling them into an RGB image.
