22:16, 4 November 2022 LightCone.xlsx (file) 177 KB Vincent A tool to simulate light cone in a telescope, finding the minimal inner diameters of each element of the optical train, finding pieces that cut the light path, finding where reflections take place based on images. Based on formulas from https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/484079-calculating-light-cone-diameter-at-different-distances/page-2#entry6335287 for light cone and obstructions and from http://www.wilmslowastro.com/software/formulae.htm#REFLECT for reflections. 1
10:58, 28 October 2022 X-Trans sample files.tar.xz (file) 3 KB Vincent This archive contains some test images and the program that generated them. The goal is to get some X-Trans images with only one color to test demosaicing or channel extraction programs. They are in the FITS format, which can contain data stored top-down or bottom-up (the convention), indicated in the metadata. Images are not of a size multiple of 6 on purpose, it's better for tests, but as the program is provided, some new images can be generated. 1
16:59, 9 May 2022 Siril Magnitude.png (file) 390 KB Vincent Siril view of the photometry analysis showing the magnitude of a star. 1
10:32, 8 March 2022 Bayer test pattern v6.tar.gz (file) 25 KB Vincent This is a set of test images for Bayer pattern recovering from all image data storing order and matrix offset parameters. See https://free-astro.org/index.php?title=Siril:FITS_orientation for more information. Made by Han of [https://www.hnsky.org/ hnsky.org] and kindly offered to the community to help other developers to implement these extensions in their file input/output. The default Bayer pattern is set at RGGB but you can test all patterns with these images. Depending on which pattern... 1
