Bienvenue sur le wiki de l'astronomie libre
Libre ici est au sens du logiciel libre tel que décrit par la free software foundation. Les logiciels libres ont de nombreux avantages, en particulier ceux d'être gratuits et de favoriser les améliorations et le contrôle par des tiers gr�âce à la distribution du code source.
Free software for astronomy is discussed and documented, whether they are related to:
- Telescope and other device control, autoguiding, autofocus, filter wheel commands, and so on.
- Cartography, all kinds of sky maps, particularly including telescope control features (GoTo).
- Image processing.
A Hardware Compatibility List for GNU/Linux systems is available.
Free astronomy also hosts two projects: Siril, an astronomical image processing software and MCMTII, drivers for the open telescope motorization .
