Qastrocam-g2

Website

Qastrocam-g2 is a maintained fork of the great Qastrocam, written by F. Sicard. Qastrocam is a capture program to do astrophotography. It can control a telescope to do guiding with the images received from a V4L device. It can also control the extended features of a webcam modified to do long exposure (several seconds) captures.

Qastrocam-g2 has fixed some bugs of the original Qastrocam release and migrated to V4L2, added lots of features for V4L2, added QHY5 and QHY6 camera support, and much more. See the ChangeLog for more details and updates.

For Arch Linux users, a qastrocam-g2 package is being maintained on AUR.
